Whether or not you win this thing. You got to decide how you’re going to walk out of here when it’s all said and done. Cause the game is going to go on. And there’s only one rule you’re going to need to know about. There are no second chances. There’s only this moment and the next moment. Everyone of those moments is a test. That you get to take one time. And only one time. So if you see an opening, Tear into it. If you get a shot at victory Make damn sure you take it. Seize that moment. That moment is a crossroads Where everything you want will collide with everything standing in your way. You got momentum at your back. Fear and doubt are like a freight train Thundering straight at you. And all you got The only difference from making history and being history The only thing, the only thing You can count on in any given moment Is you. It’s you verses them. You verses No. You verses Can’t. You verses Next Year, Last Year, Statistics, Excuses. You verses History. You verses the Odds. It’s you verses Second Place. The clock is ticking. Let’s see what you’ve got.
(October 12, 2013) Saturday afternoon, got a free time on my hand and decided to invite my niece for a walk out in the University. Upon arriving there at around 2 in the afternoon, the eerie feelings suddenly got into me. It’s been five years since I’ve been out from this threshold of this University and I did have lot of memories back in those days. There were those things that I’ve regret about and a lot of things to be thankful. I couldn’t tell each of these memories since it will gave us a lot of time going through about it. I got here and visit in this blogs of mine in order to show few pictures I did captured. This is only far from many.
Occasionally, I plan to travel in so many places and capture a lot of new things outside my home town and the place where I am. But due to the reason of some limitations in life, I couldn’t. Maybe in my next life, I guess I will. So that’s for now.
I went home last Friday after office. So, another weekends at home. Usually, I got bored going back home especially the power interruption that is going on is massive. It’s like a dancing light on and off. I don’t like when this happen and what more of a total black out. This let my imagination going wild. (lol, not the wild thing but past track is going back on me). This is why I hate when darkness settled in.
So, another weekend just came, and out of this cold day here in our place I did watch a movie entitled “Paradise”. It’s a very inspirational movie. This goes particularly to those groups who are undergoing a missy thing in their life. This is a story about a girl named Lamb Mannerheim, whose faith is shaken after a plane crash burns two-thirds of her body, and she shocks her small-town congregation when she publicly renounces God. As she sets out to experience the worldly pleasures of Las Vegas, she meets a bartender and a cynical lounge singer who help her check off as many dirty deeds as possible from her Napkin of Sin bucket List,
She did try a lot of missy thing in order to be happy. She gets things over and wanted not to be a burden to other people. There was then a certain point in its story line, where she mostly bleed in the middle of their “having fun” moment. Her two companions worried about Lamb but due to her stubbornness, she goes out and even tried to do a lot more. I won’t tell much about it for me not to spoil the movie.
To those perks that are highly traditional, this is it. Though this is all about trying to do a sin in the CITY of Sin, there is no particular scene that was being put up as additional in the story. This seems like a conservative type of a movie. So, you don’t have to worry if your teenage children watched it together with you.
