A Clan Reunion

OMG! It’s been six days that I haven’t done my assignment here on Ultimate Blog Challenge. I have been trying the past few days, but since we have a slow connection here in our place, it is somewhat kind of irritating when this sort of thing happens. Sorry my dear readers for this undeniable regret of unposting written words to be shared to the whole wide world. ^_^

Anyhow, when I was typing this statements, I was hoping that this one will be posted on this 11th day of the UBC. So, here we go, the thing I am going to share with you guys was our family reunion last October 6, 2014. Here in our country, we did had our holiday on that day for the Muslim Celebration of Edil Adha. It was fortunate that this celebration had be fall on two days before. So, we took the opportunity to enjoy this day together with our family, as spearheaded by my mother’s first cousin. Oh! By the way, the clan that I am telling here is from my mother side, specifically to her father, my maternal grandfather. I was not really into this reunion at first and wanted to stay at home. I was thinking then that it would make sense if I’ll do this since I’ll be tending our store for the whole day, and sale some goods even a little. After thinking, I did considered my mother’s cousin’s effort to convince us to join on the said reunion. So I finally decided just to join in, and not to be scolded by him when I don’t go. Will, I guess, it doesn’t hurt much if I hadn’t go there by any chance. So far, I couldn’t get every details into words. For this I will be posting selected pictures that will totally give you a scene to the said reunion. (I didn’t mentioned our family clan on this blog, since I am expecting for them not to see my blog..hehe unless they will). So, here are some pictures to be shared:

Before we leave, we were waiting for someone. Since they didn’t arrive early on, we just played along to take a picture while waiting at our gate way together with my auntie and nieces.

Presentation2

After an hour of travelling more than 30 kilometers away from home, we did arrive at our rendevouz point, at Villa Lacida, Linamon, Lanao del Norte. Many of my relatives were there, and for so many years of not seeing them, this year was our another meeting for such a long time. The adults were somehow their in order to listen to speeches on the prepared program by our relatives. I was their sitting at the last end of the table. Guess, where I am? Hehe (I guess, you couldn’t..hehe)

Presentation3

While the young adults, and elders where in the program meeting. The young ones where doing there own thing. And that is, to have FUN together with everyone! ^_^

Presentation4

I was a little bit shocked seeing those young ones all in one. Some of those were my nephews and niece from my cousins, who brought their children along. It is such a wonderful thing seeing them lively.

While taking pictures of the people around, I did caught a bunch of people who were in different trip on that day. I guess, this people were an athlete players, playing along the sea shore.

Presentation8

I did capture this picture, and I did love this one. Seeing a happy children while swimming gives a positive vibes.

Row! Row! Your boat! A Big sister and two little brothers riding on a boat. ^_^ Hope they did enjoy the scene and the ride!

While I was sitting there taking my rest from taking pictures. I thought of taking Aisha a picture. Her first one, was kind of bad since she was serious. So I took another picture, telling her to smile. She did try to smile, but instead of smiling she did showed this expression that you see. Isn’t it cute??? Hehehe..Cute! Cute! Litte niece

Presentation11

Haha! Love this picture as well, a snap shot from the person whose going to have a nice swim.

Presentation12

This is the main game! I love this picture since it shows many expression. These people who was holding a man in his orange t-shirt were all my cousins. Either you like it or not, if they catch you, they will hold you and throw you on the sea side. Im so thankful that they were doing this only to boys or else, I am sure I am an unlucky one if they did this to girls!

Reunion is a good thing for families to held. In our case, the family decided to take this reunion twice a month of every year in order to close the bond between relatives that has been lost for a long time and amend those misunderstanding issue between each other. I guess, its not a wrong thing to be in here. The only thing is that I was not that so close with them, but I am glad seeing them healthy and strong. Allah bless everyone! And see you soon in the next grand!

Zumba Zombie

Halloween is getting nearer for those people who are celebrating this month of trick or treat. Some of them are looking forward for their parties, and be the character they want to be in. As for here in Iligan, Aero Jazz Fit facilitates a Zumba Zombie, yesterday afternoon (10/25/2013) at MSU-IIT Gym, Iligan City. The event was being spare headed by the MSU IIT Alumni Batch 1988 as a part of their reunion activities for the month. This Zumba party started at around 5:30 in the afternoon and long lasted within 2 hours. Aside from Alumni Batch ’88 who were there, some aero jazz students including me were also there to support to their activities. So, I got some of the nice captured moments here:

9ners for Sunday Stop

My friend and I went to a certain restaurant here in Iligan named, 9ners! We were out of plan except to have some good dinner in here. I never gone into 9ners before but from what I heard, this restaurant has very likely tasteful foods and has a very primitive look inside. So for today, I would like to share some photos for all of your guys!

A Day to Remember

I just drove far from Iligan all the way going to Midway Resort Beach for a Recreational Activity, together with the Pag-IBIG Fund Family. That was last two years ago, May, 8, 2010. Sorry, if I posted this post too late.

We went there around 7:30 in the morning, and after an hour of driving all the way there, taking some rest will do before starting the whole program.

         Of course, picture taking is the most important thing in an activity, and we never let go any moment in smiling and saying cheese, to capture the best of us during that day.^_^…After taking a few rest, we headed off going to the sea shore to start the game of the “amazing race”…hehe…Below is a picture that was taken before we had started the game;

We had so much fun in that game even though, us blue team were in the third place…huhu…But its okay, all the matter is that we had fun. Taking a few minutes we headed off on a boat for a sight seeing.

… After this event, we had done so many things on the afternoon session, and we took the opportunity to have fun and see all the great scenery in that place. Below here are some pictures I captured on my cell phone on that day.

If there’s some one out there, whose planning to have a family outing or a friend bonding session…hehe. Why not try this place?

Rainy Sweet Morning

It’s a lovely morning when I woke up earlier today at about 5:55 am. However, the world seems not in the good mood because as I go out today to clean things outside the house, it seems that the sky is starting to fall out with a heavy rain. There’s a gray cloud that covered the sky, and the wind seems slightly not in the mood for a breeze. We can never tell the exact weather from day to day, so I continue what I was going to do that morning. After a few minutes, it started to rain, but it was just in time that I finished my work. So glad that Im done!  Hope you have a Good Sunday ahead!

Out for a Walk

(October 12, 2013) Saturday afternoon, got a free time on my hand and decided to invite my niece for a walk out in the University. Upon arriving there at around 2 in the afternoon, the eerie feelings suddenly got into me. It’s been five years since I’ve been out from this threshold of this University and I did have lot of memories back in those days. There were those things that I’ve regret about and a lot of things to be thankful. I couldn’t tell each of these memories since it will gave us a lot of time going through about it. I got here and visit in this blogs of mine in order to show few pictures I did captured. This is only far from many.

Going to University Book Center

Occasionally, I plan to travel in so many places and capture a lot of new things outside my home town and the place where I am. But due to the reason of some limitations in life, I couldn’t. Maybe in my next life, I guess I will. So that’s for now.

Partea for the Party!

Have you ever explore your place and find a unique establishment that is new to you? Today, I did. A colleague of mine from the office, one time told me a certain store here in Iligan, a place where you can choose different kinds of Milk tea. It’s been months since she told me that place. I got curious, and now that I did have a chance, I did invite a friend of mine from the gym to try it for the first time.  We did meet up earlier today at around 5:00 in the afternoon. We search for this unique store, and after a few walks, we did arrive at this place. This store is called PARTEA PARTEA! I was then imagining that this establishment where somehow spacious, but it was a mistake, somehow the area was quite small. They can serve a few clients with their minimum sittings and tables. When we got there, we have to wait for other people to finish their drinks. So we waited up for about 10 minutes to try their specialty and of course fill our curiosity about this.

When we did have the chance, the woman from the servicing desk told us some of their specialty. There were lots of choices in there, and because of too many to remembered, I didn’t have the chance to memorize them, except for ONE, the Okinawa Tea with RSC. I didn’t get what was a RSC all about, but they did mention then that it is best with this add on. Both of us choose this, with an additional that looks like a SIOPAO, but it wasn’t inside. The outer was SIOPAO like in a small size with a flavor cheese inside. We waited for about 5 minutes to get things all done.

The tea that we did try was very delicious, and I do love the SIOPAO but I got easily stuffed with it. So in order to give you a glimpse, I did capture some of the things in this place, and here they are:
